I'm Taylor Thomas, a photographer and oil painter. I grew up in Covington, Georgia in the United States, but am now living in Zürich, Switzerland.

When people ask what kind of photos I take, or what kind of paintings I paint, I usually say something about evoking vintage nostalgia, connection to nature, or just finding everyone's best angle. My photography sessions are relaxed and intuitive — I care less about rigid formulas and more about how you feel when you are in front of the camera.

My work is about capturing versions of people they find completely unrecognizable, yet entirely them. I want people to leave feeling comfortable, seen, and a little surprised by how much they enjoy being photographed.
